Thanks to everyone who came along to the celebrations. Rotary Pioneer Park holds a rich history of community involvement, and it was wonderful to have so many current and former Rotarians join us on Tuesday. We also received positive feedback from young families enjoying the park.
Mayor Ian Chaffey thanked the Rotary Club of Tumut for their years of dedication in turning an overgrown swamp into a family-friendly space. Pat Cruise (dec) led the effort, supported by many Rotarians. Former Rotarian Doug Martin joined us to celebrate the club's proud history with the park before cutting the cake.

Surrounding the new amenities, we've laid down turf, and we're currently planting greenery throughout the area. While the nature play area is almost ready, a few sections of the park will remain fenced off to allow the grass seed to take root and grow.
