Consultation has concluded

Background

Tumbarumba Caravan Park Redevelopment (Stage 1) was funded by $1,040,000 from the Federal Government and an additional contribution of $1,646,519.03 from Snowy Valleys Council.

The Project

Construction of two double-storey accommodation units and associated infrastructure at the Tumbarumba Caravan Park was completed in December 2018. These new 118 beds provide essential and affordable accommodation for Tumbarumba's seasonal workers and tourists.

The redevelopment also included the upgrade of the power supply, sewer, storm water and waste water connections and the construction of permanent roadways, car parking, internal pathways, landscaping and pedestrian lighting. A camp kitchen was installed in February 2019 to support the new lodgings.
