Rosewood Beautification and Play Area
Consultation has concluded
Background
Funding of $110,000 for the Rosewood Beautification and Play Area project was secured from the NSW Government’s Major Projects Infrastructure Fund.
The Project
With an emphasis on making Rosewood’s Memorial Park an engaging and playful for families, the space has been designed to create a welcoming gathering spot with a picnic table and seating, shelter and easy access.
The playground will feature a new play train with carriage to reference the Tumbarumba to Rosewood Rail Trail. A shade sail and fencing will also be installed and soft-fall material placed under and around the new equipment in accordance with Australian Standards.
This project is scheduled for completion by 31 December 2019.

Rosewood’s Memorial Park has a fresh new feature with a play train and carriage added to the existing playground equipment.
The new climbing train is just one part of the beautification and improvement works happening at the park as part of the town’s Beautification and Play Area major project.
A new hardwood shelter has also been erected as well as a surrounding hardwood timber fence, soft-fall material has been placed under and around all the play equipment and a shade sail will be erected soon.
