Revised Batlow Library Plans Available for Community Endorsement

Community members and library users are being invited to review and endorse the revised plans for the new library/meeting facility to be built in Batlow.

Council Director Assets & Infrastructure Matt Christensen said the revisions reflected the community’s feedback gathered from consultation undertaken in April this year.

“During the exhibition of the original draft plan we heard a range of perspectives from the community, the majority of whom wanted a façade that was in better keeping with the adjourning buildings, rear access car parking and better connectivity with the Literary Institute,” Mr Christensen said.
