Background

Council received $35,000 through the Major Projects Infrastructure Fund plus an additional $30,000 from the NSW Government's Stronger Communities Fund (Round 2) to build a multi-use track to connect the free camping ground at the Jingellic Reserve, on the Murray River, to the Jingellic shop; including a pedestrian bridge over Horse Creek

Design Plans

The plan below shows the multi-use track runs along the Murray River from the Jingellic Reserve, passed the Bridge Hotel to the Jingellic shop. The plan includes a proposed pedestrian bridge over Horse Creek which is funded under separate funding.

    Construction work to form the track was completed in late 2019. Sealing is due to commence after Summer, unfortunately the track was severely impacted by a storm and requires additional clean-up works before sealing.
