Information Guides are an important way for the community to access government information at the lowest possible cost and encourage public participation in the agency’s decision-making functions.
Council's Information Guide includes information on the following:
Structure and functions of Council (including staff and Councillors)

Accessing Council information

Rights of review and appeal
Contact details for further information.
The Information Guide must be reviewed and readopted regularly. Updates of particular note in this revision include:
An updated executive-level organisational chart has been included as well as an amendment to the table describing Council's responsibilities by Executive Directorate.
An updated listing of Council’s service areas by Directorate.
Clarification of the informal access pathway, including timeframes and fees for informal applications that request development information which pre-dates the commencement of the GIPA Act, that being 1 July 2010, in line with Council’s updated Fees & Charges.
