This summer will be the first test for the new pool blanket and solar panels. It is hoped they contribute to increasing the water temperature to a comfortable 26 degrees, making it a little easier for our youngsters to jump in the water for swimming lessons and swim club.

Given Adelong's mountainous climate and chili overnight temperatures more people will be able to enjoy the facilities, whether it be for a quick after school swim or a aqua-aerobics class.

We can't wait to see you there this summer!

The new shelter is up and solar panels have been installed on top of the roof.

We're ready for some sunny spring days to warm the water temperature up for the 2020-21 pool season.

Construction of the pool shelter is underway. The shelter stretches the length of the back fence at the shallow end of the pool.

Solar panels will be installed on the shelter roof once constructioned, fingers crossed we are blessed with some sunny spring days to warm the water temperature up for the pool opening in October.

The pool blankets, winch and rollers were installed earlier this year.
