Tumut Bull Paddock Female Change Facilities
The female changerooms at the Bull Paddock have officially been completed!
The new facility features both visitor and home change rooms equipped with showers, toilets, and ample changing space, along with a referee room, storage space, and verandah. These upgrades ensure that all athletes can enjoy a comfortable and inclusive environment.
Situated next to the existing amenities, the completion of the changerooms significantly enhances the experience for local teams and positions the Bull Paddock to host more sporting events. As one of our region’s most popular recreation precincts, it will provide a safe and secure space for women to change before and after competitions. This facility will benefit local sporting clubs, including the Tumut Eagles Football Club, Tumut Rugby Union Club, Tumut Little Athletics, Tumut Cricket Club, and Tumut Oztag, as well as primary and high schools that participate in annual athletics carnivals.
FUNDING
Council received grant funding towards the project from Stronger Country Communities Fund R4 (SCCF4) and The Office of Sport Female Friendly Community Sport Facilities and Lighting Upgrades Grant Program.

The internal fit-out stage of the amenities upgrade is progressing smoothly, with key installations such as plumbing, electrical, and fixtures well underway. This phase includes the fitting of showers, toilets, and changing areas. Once complete, these modern upgrades will provide a comfortable and functional space for female users and is equipped to serve the community for years to come.

The groundwork, including foundation, slab, and block construction, has been finished, and roofing is well underway. Internal fit-out is scheduled to commence shortly, keeping us on track to open the facility for use in Spring.

Works on the new change facilities are progressing well. The foundation and slab works have been completed, and block works are well underway, the roof will go on next followed by the internal fit-out.

Construction of the new female changerooms at Tumut’s Bull Paddock is set to begin next week. The new changerooms will be situated on the Broughton Street side of the existing amenities.During construction, a small portion of the parking area will be temporarily closed, but works are not anticipated to impact the playing fields or access to the existing facilities. The designated construction area will be appropriately signposted with safety barriers installed.We've contacted the regular sporting clubs that use the Bull Paddock, however if we've missed you, please let us know. We're more than happy to discuss the details of the project with you.
