Tumut Bull Paddock Amenities and Driver Reviver
Consultation has concluded
The Bull Paddock Youth Precinct, located on Fitzroy Street Tumut is one of the most utilised recreation areas within the Snowy Valleys. The new amenities are located closer to the playground and adjacent to the new permanent Driver Reviver site, making the area a much more family friendly destination for locals and visitors.
Fitzroy Toilets
The new amenities opened to the public in August 2022. The facility contains four unisex toilets, one disabled compliant toilets and a parents room.
They include improved disability access and consist of one disabled access toilet, three unisex toilets and a parents room.
To reduce opportunities for anti-social behaviour an automatic locking system will close the facility from 6pm-6am daily (times to be review during daylight saving months).
The old amenities at the other end of the park have been demolished. They were in very poor condition and no longer met user expectations.
Funding of $300,000 was received under the State Governments 2nd Round of the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program and the project was adopted by Council.
