Consultation has concluded

Funding was allocated from the NSW Government’s Stronger Communities Fund (Round 2) for installation of free public Wi-Fi within the town centres of Batlow, Adelong, Tumbarumba, Khancoban, Tumut and Talbingo.

Brungle Wifi is unable to be installed at this time due to poor coverage

The scope of works for each of the towns is dependent on the individual town's requirements.

Work includes negotiating power pole lease agreements with energy providers, commissioning and installation of NBN lines, and the purchase and installation of electrical equipment.

Current Status

Work is currently underway to negotiate and establish unmetered power supply contracts with Essential Energy.
