Talbingo Walking Path

Background

Funding of $350,000 was allocated from the second round of the NSW Government’s Stronger Country Community Fund for construction of a walking path from the township of Talbingo to the Snowy Mountains Track.


The Project

The 2.55 kilometre off-road pathway will start at Talbingo Country Club on Bridle Street and follow along the southern side of Miles Franklin Drive to the intersection at the Snowy Mountains Highway.

The walking path is designed to cater for both walkers and cyclists and will be a valuable recreational asset that will be enjoyed by Talbingo locals and visitors for years to come.
