Council must adopt a policy governing the payment of expenses and provision of facilities to the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and other Councillors that relate to the work undertaken as part of their civic duties. Mayors and Councillors can only be reimbursed for expenses and provided with facilities under this Policy.

This Draft Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Mayor and Councillors Policy has been reviewed in line with legislative requirements, updated guidelines and circulars published from the NSW Office of Local Government.
