Draft Adelong Main Street Design Masterplan

The draft Adelong Main Street Masterplan has been developed through a comprehensive program of stakeholder engagement, community consultation and technical design investigation funded under the NSW Severe Weather and Flood Grant Program.

The Masterplan establishes a long-term vision for enhancing the safety, functionality, character and resilience of Adelong’s town centre.

It presents a coordinated, place-led upgrade that strengthens the function, safety and identity of the town centre while remaining grounded in its existing character.

Through targeted improvements to parking, traffic management, pedestrian environments, connectivity, landscape, public art and stormwater infrastructure, the design delivers a more welcoming, accessible and resilient main street.

Collectively, these interventions enhance everyday use, support local activity and reinforce a strong sense of arrival, contributing to a vibrant and legible town centre environment for residents, visitors and businesses alike.
