A Development Application No 2019/0172 and accompanying Environmental Impact Statement has been submitted to Snowy Valleys Council.

Consent Authority: Southern Regional Planning Panel

Applicant: Allspec & Partners Pty. Limited

Development Proposal: Increase general solid (non-putrescible) waste from 5,000 tonnes per annum to a limit of 40,000 tonnes per year.

Land: Lots 61 & 62 DP 757252, 10 Killarney Road Gilmore NSW 2720.

The subject Development Application and Environmental Impact Statement is on display until Friday 21 February 2020 and

Any person may lodge a written submission, during the exhibition period, to Snowy Valleys Council concerning the Development Application quoting Council’s file reference DA 2019/0172. If the submission is by way of objection, the grounds of the objection must be specified in the submission.

Written submissions will be received up until 9am on Monday the 24 February 2020.

The Development is also Integrated Development and the following approval will be required to be issued by the Environmental Protection Authority – Licensing under the Protection of the Environment Operation Act 1997.

Unless the proposed development is development about which the Independent Planning Commission has conducted a public hearing, any person who makes a submission by way of objection and who is dissatisfied with the determination of the consent authority to grant development consent, may appeal to the Land and Environment Court under Section 8.8 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, 1979.

If the Independent Planning Commission conducts a public hearing, the Commission’s determination of the application is final and not subject to appeal.

Information provided to Council in correspondence, submissions or requests (electronic or written), including personal information such as your name and address, may be made publicly available, including via Council’s website, in accordance with the Government Information (Public Access) Act (GIPA Act) 2009. Council reserves the right to reproduce in whole or in part any correspondence or submission.

Section 10.4 of the Environmental Planning Assessment Act, 1979 and the Local Government and the Planning Legislation Amendment (Political Donations) Act, 2008 requires the disclosure of any reportable political donations or gifts by a person or persons who makes a relevant planning application to Council or submission on a relevant planning application to Council.
