Snowy Valleys Council is committed to disability inclusion to build a strong, equitable community.

Council supports the fundamental right of people with disability to choose how they live their lives, to access opportunities, and to enjoy the benefits of living and working in our society, as all residents do.

Council’s objective is to ensure that local services, facilities and programs provided by council are inclusive and, as part of this, we are developing our third four-year Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) 2027-2030 to continue the commitment to inclusion and enhancement of all aspects of life in the Snowy Valleys.

This survey has been designed to receive valuable insights from people with a disability, their carers, family and friends, which will be used to inform the development of the new DIAP.
