Council Votes to Establish Tumut CBD Project Scope

At the August council meeting Councillors voted to accept the recommendation of the Tumut Chamber of Commerce and established that the Tumut CBD Project scope will be to upgrade the streetscape of Wynyard Street, including roundabouts, between Capper and Fitzroy Streets, Tumut, within the funding budget of $1.76m.

The upgrades will Incorporate new hard wearing, stain resistant, non-slip paving with aesthetic themed design, plantings and landscaping, upgraded and new street furniture, rubbish bins, bike racks, tree surrounds and repainted bollards, light poles and pedestrian crossing.
